Frome time to time, ELA oranizes tours (in person or via internet) for members interested in visiting libraries, archives, or related institutions.
In 2022, ELA visited the Bloor/Gladstone Library which has been in service for more than a century. Toronto Public Library has renovated this branch and kept it up-to-date with innovative designs for both the exterior and interior. These are two photos taken by Doreen London during the fall tour.
ELA members also toured the popular antiquarian shop The Monkey's Paw on Bloor Street, Toronto, in fall 2022. This store features a unique vending machine for older books. Again, images provided by Doreen London.
